ROLE

PRODUCER // GAME DESIGNER // QUALITY ASSURANCE

DESCRIPTION

As the project producer, I was responsible for overseeing project timelines, resource allocation, and risk management. I also made strategic decisions regarding project scope and deliverables.

 

For this project we set up our task tracking and scheduling on HacknPlan. This came crucial as it could generate burndown charts for me and also allowed team members to help and cover eachother with ease if someone was blocked or away.

We also ran asset list that the whole team had access too as well. This was set up by me and was built upon with some functionality improvements from my previous project Engineered Damnation.

Other roles included designing mechanics, the race track & car performance.  Things I worked on was the Portal Blink and Portal Drop abilties the cars have, designing a city circuit the same way race orginisers would in real life and  overall car feel and tuning.

Running QA sessions and bug reports I was able to find some key fun aspects of our racing game to build upon and finding unwanted bugs from affecting the overall experience.
