ENGINEERED DAMNATION

Producer // Game Designer // Quality Assurance

DESCRIPTION

I took on the role of project producer for my first major project. I initiated the project by defining its scope and creating an 8-week timeline. I then led the team to execute the plan, resulting in a well-designed game delivered on time. It was a challenge to learn how to use HacknPlan and build an asset list all while during pre production. I was able to get it all set up and took on feed back from the team to adjust the functionality when needed.

Other aspects of the game I worked on was the level design and how the player interacted with the level. The office I designed was to have interactable areas in red sections across the office table. The office also creates a frantic work day as the player needs to go back and fourth across the room to complete the puzzle. Giving the player added urgency as the day progresses. 

I also spear headed the bug testing and quality assurance aspect of this project balancing the overall difficulty of the level for first time players. I also found bugs relating to breaking out of the map, functions and exploits.

Fun fact I leant my voice to play the role of the boss that explains the tutorial to the player!
